We’re Hiring: Social Media Marketer – Lackawanna County, PA

This is a part-time role primarily remote, with on-site filming days in Lackawanna County, PA. The role will start at 20 hrs/week, and then move to full time. The position focuses on producing high-performing short-form content while contributing to research-driven strategy and measurable client growth.

We are not a volume-based agency. We build custom, data-informed strategies for brands building long-term equity.

The ideal candidate is skilled in short-form video production and editing, understands what makes short-form content convert, and can interpret performance metrics to refine strategy. We’re looking for someone professional, sharp, and able to think beyond just posting.



About the Role

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative position involving both production and strategic planning.

You will work directly with our team and clients to:

  • Film and edit short-form content on-site

  • Contribute to content planning and creative direction

  • Analyze performance data and identify improvement opportunities

  • Support custom strategy development for each brand

Our work is tailored, research-heavy, and growth-focused. This role requires both creative execution and analytical thinking.


Requirements

You must be located in Lackawanna County, PA and able to travel locally for content shoots.

Additionally, you’ll need:

  • An iPhone 15 or newer for filming. Ideally, a 15 Pro or 16 Pro.

  • Proficiency in CapCut and Canva (or any other editing programs)

  • A current and thorough understanding of all major social media platforms.

  • A reliable schedule that allows for up to 20 hours per week to start.

  • A portfolio of relevant work and three references (client, employer, or peer-based are acceptable).

  • Advanced Analytics & Platform Proficiency

    You must be highly proficient in:

    • Instagram Insights

    • Meta Business Suite

    • TikTok Studio Analytics

    You must be able to confidently interpret and apply data from:

    • Retention graphs (identifying drop-off points)

    • Average watch time vs. total video length

    • Replay rate indicators

    • Engagement rate (by reach)

    • Hook hold rate (first 3–5 seconds)

    • Follower conversion rate per post

    • A/B test results



Responsibilities:

  • Film on-site and edit short-form video content.

  • Manage clients' platforms, including community management and more.

  • Assist in planning and organizing client content strategies.

  • Contribute to idea development and creative direction.

  • Analyze insights and iterate content based on performance

  • Remain current with platform-specific best practices and trends.

  • Ensure timely delivery of edited materials and maintain consistent quality standards.


Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 3+ years of experience in content creation and organic social media.

    • We are open to candidates with less experience if your portfolio demonstrates strong skill, professionalism, and a clear eagerness to learn.

  • A solid understanding of short-form video content formats, including Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

  • The ability to follow direction while also offering constructive input.

  • Strong communication and time management skills.

  • Ideally experience with these tools. But we can teach them as well:
